Volunteer for us

Could you help someone save a life?

Join our caring, dedicated volunteers

Heartstart Malvern exists because ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference in the first few minutes of a cardiac arrest.

Our volunteers help us train more people, support our community and maintain the network of public access defibrillators that could one day help save a life.

You don't need to be a medical professional.

You just need to care about your community and be willing to get involved.
"I often tell participants on our courses that I'm on a mission to train everyone in Malvern in resuscitation and use of a defibrillator,  just in case I ever need their help!
Not everyone can be saved, but the more people who have the skills the greater chance we all have. As we often say on our courses, it's the bystanders who keep people alive whilst waiting for the paramedics to arrive."

Frequently asked questions

Hear from our amazing volunteers

"I originally contacted Heartstart Malvern to enquire about doing one of their CPR courses, only to be told they were hoping to recruit a few more volunteers in order to be able to run some courses, and would I be interested in volunteering! So I went along,  found a very friendly group of volunteers from all walks of life and basically got sucked in!
